IELTS Writing


 1. Describing a Graph
In this IELTS writing section 1, there are some important things that we should know. That is about how to describing graph within containt in 6 (six) modles of graph. There are: Bar Graph, Line Graph, Pie Graph Chart, Table, Flow-Chart, Diagram. The function of each graph is to get information from some situation which is describe by the graph itself..
So, on this section it will be explained a graph forms TABLE, Table is a popular graph which is ussualy used for showing the information  in  a graph. In several cases there are some graphs that need a complement, but the special thing on table we can look information  clearly because on each collumn have a specific informtion.

2. Describe Bar Graph On Video
The graph on this video described about ‘Internet Usage Demographies As a Percentage of Total Internet Usage in the UK’.

 In this graph we can see that young generation (15years old) increasing in every years. The significant of change has occurred on 1998 to 1999. Inversely, 16-30 years old has decreased each year that is approximately 8% in 1998-1999. As well as 16-30 years old, 31-49 decreased approximatly 2% per year. The last bar is about 50 years or more, the result of this bar show an increase on each year.
It will be two paraghraph, the paragraph 1 analyze 7 sentences, each sentence contains :
1.      Data type description, it is show about what the graps shows.
2.      Broad, it is show about the direction of the graph, upper or lower in the graph from 1998-2000.
3.      Minue detail, it show about the value in graph.

 3. 150 words paragraph by using a graph
On this video the graph shows about how to identify information in a pie chart. The graph shows the export destination for Australiian and Newzealend goods. The main point on this graph, both of countries only 3 destination countries made up about three-quarters of the total goods. In Australia have top 3 destination, they are Japan, China, & Korea with total 71,2%. While, for New-Zealand the top 3 desinations were Australia, US & Japan with total 75,6%. The key point of this percentage is that the contry took the largest percentage of New-Zealand’s goods was Australia, it’s about 38,7%. However, New-Zealand was not one of the major export destination for Australia. The country that received the largest proportion of Australia’s goods in 2008, namely Japan. China & US have important destinations for both Australian and New-Zealand goods, giving the proportions and making clear comparison/contrast. Beside that, India was an important destination for Australia Conversely.

Writing 4 Assignment


On this section I would like to share about the style of APA 6th edition.
American Pshicology Association or APA 6th edition style is widely accepted in the social sciences and other fields, such as education, bussiness, and nursing.
APA requires that information be cited in 2 different ways—within the text and in a reference list at the end of the paper. The reference list should be on a new page, double spaced, and use the hanging indent method (all lines after the first one are indented).
Example of APA 6th edition style that I know are :

In this second session I will explain the differences between my plan research and the research that has been done by Soedjiwo Tedjoe (http://www.scribd.com/doc/51085165/proposal-skripsi).
Previous study conducted in SDN Karangan 1 Bareng in academic year 2010/2011.
In general Isee some differences between mine and his research, there are:
1.    The research that conducted by Soedjiwo included in 5 grade, while I will do my research on 4 grade. Because I think that almost all schools in Indonesia started implementing learning English in grade 3 or 4. So we need to planting early vocabulary in grade 4 students so that when they enter Grade 5, they've trained with words commonly used in everydays’ life.
2.    The Scope.  The scope was used in Soedjiwo research focused on classroom learning while I'm going to do later involve classroom and learning outside the classroom depending on the situation and conditions.
